Whistler Canada Tourist Information
One Whistler's most iconic features is the pedestrian promenade that runs through the heart of the village. The promenade meanders from the Marketplace at the north to the base of Whistler Mountain at the south.
During the summer months, the Village Stroll is decorated with beautiful hanging baskets and flower gardens. In the winter, it becomes a winter wonderland with Christmas lights and decorations everywhere.
Whistler Village has always been a pedestrian friendly community. Vehicles are required to park in designated hotel parking areas or at the massive parking lot located directly east of the commercial area (next to Fitzsimmons Creek).
Free parking in Whistler Canada is available in parking lot #4. The lots that are located closer to the gondolas and chairlifts (i.e. #1, #2, #3) are paid parking areas.
