Whistler Canada Tourist Information
One of Whistler's most iconic structures is a picturesque covered bridge.
The wooden structure is located in the river valley located between Whistler Village and the Upper Village.
The covered bridge crosses Fitzsimmons Creek, a beautiful waterway that flows from the mountains.
The unique turquoise colour of the creek is the result of glacial till - tiny particles of suspended rock that are produced when massive glaciers grind the earth's surface.
