Car Rentals at YVR Airport

Many visitors to Whistler elect to rent a car at the Vancouver International Airport (YVR) and enjoy a leisurely drive to Whistler BC.

Whistler is located two hours north of downtown Vancouver on highway 99 (Sea-to-Sky Highway).

It takes an extra 30-45 minutes when travelling from the airport.

Because Whistler is a small, pedestrian friendly community, there is no real need to have a vehicle while you are in town.

Some car rental companies offer one-way rentals between Vancouver and Whistler.  Visitors consequently don't need to pay for a rental vehicle or parking when they are in town.
