British Columbia is Canada's most westerly province.  The province of Alberta lies to the west and the state of Washington is situated to the south.  BC borders on Alaska and the Yukon at the north.

Whistler is located in western British Columbia, just two hours from Vancouver.  The village can easily be reached from Vancouver BC by car, coach or train.

Visitors arriving from Victoria, British Columbia's capital city, should catch the ferry from Nanaimo to Horseshoe Bay to avoid traffic in the city of Vancouver.
