At 8,171 acres, the Whistler Blackcomb ski resort is the largest resort
of its kind in North America. It is over 50% larger than Vail, the next
runner up. Ski runs range from easy "green" runs to challenging black diamond runs.
The vertical descent on Blackcomb Mountain is nearly one full mile.
